sadly that happens way too much, seems amazing that a person would take the trouble to register on this site, then post the video]

then 2 months later delete the video

Does this happen much?
People 'retracting' things.
Did anyone download a copy for themselves that they could share?

regards.
Do I look like I'm making this up?

I think we all generally assume that the video will not be deleted, certainly not by the person who sodding well uploaded it anyway

I have never in my life bothered to download a copy but maybe I should, I have seen this pattern of the video owner deleting videos way too many times :narked:

Do these people remain members? Have you ever been given a reason why?

think you may be confusing two separate issues here

a) the member who posts the YouTube video may or may not be the same person who uploaded the YouTube video (even if they infer they did)

b) just because the YouTube video gets deleted doesn't mean that the member who posted it disappears off the scene

c) we have absolutely no information on that at all :wide:

sadly YouTube videos are uploaded every day - many do not even last out the week - which is a shame and a complete plague to forums like this one :x
